As Joss already flagged in his blog post, the new RFC postings by Professors Terranova and Thacker offer intriguing perspectives to network politics. Whereas Terranova offers a broad perspective of the directions where collaboration and agenda-setting should happen (across disciplines -- a core feature of this project), Thacker's entry points out how we can kick off from a perspective on politics of bodies of various kinds (and hence question what even is a network beyond the obvious solution of seeing it as a technological one). It also points towards an important agenda concerning viralities and such -- a theme investigated in the growing body of work on viruses, anomalies and "the dark side of network culture." On this topic, see also the Spam Book.
